For those who want to relax, the resort has its own houseboat where you can sail the Alapphuza backwaters or simple unwind on the white sands of Marari beach or by the infinity pool. If you prefer to be more active, the hotel offers a range of activities from early morning yoga, fishing in a traditional Keralan boat, bike rides around the local villages, archery, sailing and painting courses. In the evenings, enjoy performances by local traditional dancers.

Nestled amongst the pristine gardens, Aryavaidyasala Spa offers a wide range of holistic treatments combining personalised Ayurvedic treatments and healing treatments such as kundalini Yoga and pranic healing. The spa also offers modern spa treatments and therapies for sports injuries.

Dining

The food is fresh and flavoursome thanks to the organic garden within the resort which grows fruits, vegetables, spices and Ayurvedic herbs for the restaurants and spa. Note that no alcohol is served at the resort.

The villas are designed to reduce energy and water consumption as well as minimise the use of exhaustible materials. The eco-friendly resort ensures materials such as jute, bamboo, recycled cardboard instead of wood, reprocessed plastic and scrap wood are used.
