Hotel Facilities

Veda5 is set around a private lake surrounded by coconut groves, with Arambol Beach a short walk away. The open-air yoga shala overlooks the lake and hosts daily yoga and meditation sessions. A Vedic library provides a quiet space for reading and reflection between treatments, and the natural surroundings — birdsong, the lake, the tropical greenery — add considerably to the atmosphere of the place.

Wellness Facilities

The Veda5 Ayurveda clinic has 4 dedicated therapy rooms where treatments are delivered by experienced therapists using natural herbal ingredients and classical Ayurvedic protocols. Vaidya (doctor) consultations take place on arrival and shape the treatment plan, diet and daily schedule for each guest. The treatment menu covers full Panchakarma, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Udvartana, Basti, Nasya and a range of rejuvenating massages and body treatments alongside naturopathy.

Dining

Dining at Veda5 follows the Sattvic philosophy — pure, fresh and entirely vegetarian, prepared according to Ayurvedic principles and adapted to each guest's individual constitution and programme. Meals are made with locally sourced ingredients and natural herbs, with the menu changing to support the body at each stage of the treatment programme. Freshly prepared and served in the retreat's dining space overlooking the lake and gardens.

Good to Know

Accommodation

Veda5 has 20 lake-facing rooms and cottages set within the tropical gardens, each looking out over the private lake and surrounding coconut groves. Rooms combine traditional Goan character with modern comforts — well appointed and peaceful, with the sounds of the lake and the gardens providing a natural backdrop to the stay.

Location

Veda5 sits in Arambol, on the quieter northern stretch of the Goa coast, 200 metres from Arambol Beach and within easy reach of Mandrem and Morjim beaches. The surrounding area has a relaxed, village character quite different from the busier resort areas further south — well suited to a wellness stay focused on rest and treatment.

Goa International Airport (Dabolim) is approximately 55 minutes away by road. For guests flying into Manohar International Airport (the newer airport near Panaji), Arambol is around 45 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Veda5 Wellness Retreat and what makes it special?

Veda5 is a traditional Ayurveda and Panchakarma retreat in Goa, set on a private lakeside property in Arambol, 200 metres from the beach and surrounded by coconut groves. Every stay begins with a Vaidya (doctor) consultation that shapes the treatment plan, diet and daily schedule — classical Ayurvedic medicine delivered in an intimate setting of 20 lake-facing rooms, with Sattvic vegetarian cuisine and daily yoga alongside the therapeutic programme.

What Ayurvedic treatments and programmes are available?

Five programmes run from 3 to 28 nights — Great Escapes, Rejuvenation and De-Stress, Ayurveda Detox, Panchakarma and Weight Loss. The Ayurveda Detox combines classical treatments including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Udvartana, Basti and Nasya with dietary support and herbal medicine — a thorough detox retreat in Goa delivered by experienced Ayurvedic therapists. Full Panchakarma requires 14, 21 or 28 nights — the full five-action classical protocol prescribed and overseen by the Vaidya throughout.

What yoga and meditation is available?

Daily yoga and meditation sessions take place in the open-air yoga shala overlooking the lake — a mix of Hatha yoga, pranayama and meditation practice that complements the Ayurvedic programme throughout the stay. Sessions run in the morning and evening, and additional private sessions can be arranged on request.

What is the food like at Veda5?

All meals follow the Sattvic philosophy — pure, fresh and entirely vegetarian, prepared according to Ayurvedic principles and adapted to each guest's individual constitution and programme. Ingredients are locally sourced and natural, with the menu adjusted to support the body at each stage of treatment. Meals are served in the dining space overlooking the lake and gardens.

Is Veda5 suitable for solo travellers?

Many guests arrive alone. The intimate setting, warm Indian hospitality and shared daily rhythm of treatments, yoga and meals create a natural sense of community — the Vaidya's personal attention and the small scale of 20 rooms give every stay a quality of individual care that larger retreats rarely provide.

When is the best time to visit Veda5?

Veda5 is open year-round. The dry season from October to March offers the most settled weather in North Goa — ideal for combining the wellness programme with time at Arambol Beach and exploring the surrounding coast. The monsoon from June to September is traditionally considered beneficial for certain Ayurvedic treatments in classical practice, though beach activities are limited during this period.
