Hotel Facilities

Everything at Kamalaya is designed to create a calm and supportive environment for rest, reflection, and rejuvenation. Facilities include a 25-metre lap pool, leisure and plunge pools, and 250 metres of quiet private beach. The retreat’s lush setting is ideal for slowing down and reconnecting with nature.

One of Kamalaya’s most distinctive features is its meditation cave, a spiritual space once used by Buddhist monks that remains open for guest use. A full schedule of daily activities includes yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, pranayama, meditation, and coastal walks. These mindful movement sessions are open to all levels and help restore both body and mind.

Additional facilities include a boutique, library, art gallery, and relaxed lounge areas. The boutique offers local crafts, wellness products, resort clothing, and a thoughtful collection of books, allowing guests to take home a little inspiration from their stay.

Wellness Facilities

The heart of Kamalaya Koh Samui is its holistic approach to wellbeing, delivered through a wide range of therapies, treatments, and personalised programmes. Guests begin with a wellness consultation to create a tailored plan that supports their specific health goals;  whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.

The retreat’s expert team includes naturopaths, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, nutritionists, life transformation coaches, and specialists in Thai and Ayurvedic therapies. Western medical professionals are also available for consultations. With more than 70 treatments on offer, the programme options cover detox, stress and burnout recovery, sleep enhancement, healthy ageing, and emotional healing.

Kamalaya’s wellness facilities feature the Cognitive House, a pioneering brain health and emotional wellbeing centre offering therapies such as neurofeedback, neuromodulation, photobiomodulation, craniosacral therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and targeted IV infusions, supported by mindfulness practices and Traditional Chinese Medicine consultations. The Longevity House focuses on preventative health and regenerative therapies, providing nutrient-rich IV therapy, ozone therapy, hyperbaric oxygen sessions, and premium grooming at the Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez.

Dining

Kamalaya’s cuisine plays a central role in the retreat experience. Meals are crafted using fresh, seasonal ingredients and inspired by both Asian and Western traditions. Whether you're following a detox plan, exploring plant-based eating, or simply choosing to eat well, each dish is thoughtfully designed to nourish without compromise.​

Soma
Meaning "food of the gods", Soma is Kamalaya’s main dining area with stunning valley and ocean views. It features both intimate tables and a community table to encourage connection among guests.guests may dine together.

Amrita Café

Set by the pool and overlooking lotus ponds and the sea, Amrita (meaning "divine nectar") offers light, healthy meals in a relaxed outdoor setting.

The Alchemy Tea Lounge

Perfect for sunset views, this inviting space serves medicinal herbal teas, elixirs, cold-pressed juices, and a small selection of wine and beer for those not on a detox plan.

Good to Know

In keeping with Kamalaya’s philosophy of mindful living, Wi-Fi is intentionally unavailable in common areas. This helps guests fully disconnect from digital distractions and immerse themselves in the retreat’s peaceful natural surroundings, encouraging deeper relaxation, presence, and genuine connection.
