The Preidlhof Way is the philosophy that true health and happiness resides in finding the right balance between ‘hedonistic’ and ‘eudemonic’ wellbeing – as wholly defined by Aristotle. These ideals flow through every interaction, experience and treatment offered to guests involving all areas of wellbeing: from the spa and the culinary art to the outdoor activities from Preidlhof’s very doorstep, such as hiking and biking trails. The retreat creates a wholly transformative and memorable experience with its own vineyard and herb garden, colourful orchards, olive trees and the freshest mountain air, an evocative guide to rekindle memories, emotions and new sensations. It will be difficult not to feel relaxed and regenerated in body and mind with 16 different saunas, steam and relaxation spaces and 10 swimming pools and whirlpools including an outdoor infinity sky pool and a sun deck on the top floor of the sauna tower with panoramic views.
Wellness Facilities
Set within beautifully landscaped grounds with breath-taking views, Preidlhof’s impressive 5000m² of wellness space where the mind and body can regenerate.
Sauna Tower: The 6-floor Sauna Tower is a retreat of wellbeing with 7 saunas, 6 swimming pools, 5 hot tubs/hydrotherapy pools, Turkish baths and 6 relaxation rooms including the unique DEEPSEA sensory room. This was purposely built vertically to make the most of the 360° views of the surrounding orchards, hills, the Vinschgau Valley and Ortler Mountains.
MedSpa: The Medical Spa offers a preventative health approach to wellbeing with a range of complementary treatments and therapies personalised to regenerate and revitalise. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a major inclusion, and the range goes from full health checks with a meridian diagnosis and nutritional advice, to acupuncture and homoeopathy.
Dining
The restaurant serves regional Italian and South Tyrolean cuisines and specialities using local and seasonal ingredients and blending the Mediterranean and Alkaline diet including vegetarian, vegan and low-calorie choices. In the evenings, guests have the choice of a seven-course gourmet dinner or a wellness healing gourmet menu where the Chef takes you on a journey of your senses with rich flavours and local delicacies. Guests on transformational retreats and programmes can choose to dine in the Vita Lounge which has been designed to promote a mindful dining experience.

Location
Preidlhof’s prime hilltop location in the mountain village of Naturno offers sweeping views of the mountains, vineyards and olive, apple and lemon orchards. The Parcines waterfalls are just five minutes away, while the historical spa town of Merano is just a short drive away.

Accommodation at Preidlhof
Each of the 71 rooms and suites offer a balcony or terrace with day beds where you can take in the breathtaking views of the valley and mountains. Rooms are dedicated to a restful sleep with sleep well tea bags, earplugs and a sleep mask are supplied as standard in each room. During the night, the WLAN is switched off so that nobody is disturbed in their sleep by the radiation. Only the light in the toilet goes automatically on in a dimmed mode, when needed. Each guest will also receive a wellness kit to use throughout their stay with a wellness bag, bathrobe and sauna towel and a backpack, a refilling water bottle and a belt bag.
