My Arbor

My Arbor is an adults-only tree hotel in South Tyrol, built on 34-metre stilts among the forested slopes of the Plose above Bressanone — some suites sitting up to 35 metres above the forest floor, with the surrounding treetops at eye level and the Dolomites stretching beyond. Family-owned by the Huber family and built around the "My" philosophy of maximum freedom and no fixed schedules — breakfast until noon, saunas after dark, the week shaped around each guest rather than the programme. Spa Arboris draws on the four native trees of the surrounding forest, and the Plose and UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites are on the doorstep year-round.

Spa Arboris spans 2,500sqm and takes its therapeutic philosophy from four native South Tyrolean trees — larch for purification and clarity, stone pine for deep sleep and calm, mountain pine for physical and mental resilience and spruce for grounding and inner centering. Before each treatment, guests complete a short assessment to identify their dominant tree type, which shapes the session that follows. The signature Arboris Tree Ritual on a 4D massage bed draws on all four tree types together. Five saunas with daily infusions, indoor and outdoor pools, a panoramic whirlpool, cold plunge pool and 10 private heated outdoor relaxation pods complete the spa.

Every stay includes breakfast until noon, full access to Spa Arboris including all five saunas and a minimum of four daily sauna infusions, the full weekly programme of yoga, Forest Yoga, forest bathing and guided hikes, underground parking and the Brixen Südtirol Guest Pass covering free travel on all public transport across South Tyrol. Half board — a seven-course evening dinner menu created by an internationally renowned Healing Chef, changing daily across 49 recipes — can be added at the time of booking.

My Arbor works as well as a mountain activity base as it does a spa retreat. The Plose cable car station is 800 metres away, connecting to 2,050 metres above sea level for hiking in summer and skiing in winter, with a direct trail to the ski area making it effectively ski-in/ski-out. Hiking trails run from the hotel door through the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, with mountain biking, guided forest bathing, WAV-E training, Qi Gong and personal coaching available alongside the spa programme.

Dining at My Arbor draws on the Huber family's own 20-hectare estate at Lake Garda — fruit, vegetables, herbs and olive oil from 1,300 olive trees — alongside the best of South Tyrolean and Italian produce. The restaurant serves a seven-course evening dinner menu alongside an à la carte selection, with theme days running through the week built around seasonal produce and regional traditions. Breakfast runs until noon, in keeping with the "My" philosophy. The wine cellar holds over 950 labels — half from South Tyrolean producers — with weekly guided tastings led by head sommelier Mehmet Kaplan, alongside a bread sommelier.

My Arbor is open year-round. Winter brings skiing directly from the hotel via a trail connecting to the Plose ski area — 12 kilometres of toboggan run and seven lifts. Summer opens the hiking trails through the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, with the Plose cable car connecting to 2,050 metres from 800 metres away. Spring and autumn bring quieter conditions, with the forest at its most varied and the spa and weekly programme fully available.

Bolzano Airport is approximately 40 minutes away by road, Innsbruck approximately 1.5 hours and Verona approximately 2 hours — the three most practical options depending on where guests are flying from.
