Wellness Programmes at Samahita Retreat

Hotel Facilities

Based on ‘Sattva’, a Sanskrit term that means ‘purity, harmony and balance’, the food at Samahita is wholesome, nourishing and tasty. Incorporating fresh ingredients that are easy to digest, the kitchen serves up vegetarian, raw and pescatarian traditional Thai and international delicacies served buffet style for each meal which can be enjoyed  in the beachfront lounge and dining area with options for communal dining. Many of the herbs, fruits and vegetables used are grown on the retreat’s organic farm, while the yoghurt, kefir, soy milk, coconut milk, are all homemade on-site along. There is also a juice and coffee bar and a la carte dining meal where you can purchase additional meals and drinks.

Wellness Facilities

The wellness centre at Samahita Retreat blends traditional Thai therapies with selected Western practices to support rest, healing, and overall wellbeing. Guests can benefit from a personalised approach guided by experienced in-house therapists and visiting practitioners. Facilities include an infrared sauna and float therapy for deep relaxation and renewal. The herbal steam room, overlooking the beach, uses a blend of local Thai herbs and spices known as Samonpli, recognised for their soothing and cleansing properties. Whether you're looking to relax, detoxify, or simply take time out in a quiet, natural environment, Samahita offers a peaceful space to reconnect and restore balance.

Rooted in the Sanskrit concept of ‘Sattva’—meaning purity, harmony, and balance—the food at Samahita Retreat is wholesome, nourishing, and full of flavour. Meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh, easy-to-digest ingredients and served buffet-style in the relaxed beachfront lounge and dining area, with the option for communal dining. The menu includes a variety of vegetarian, raw, and pescatarian Thai and international dishes. Many of the herbs, fruits, and vegetables are sourced from the retreat’s own organic farm, and staples such as yoghurt, kefir, soy milk, and coconut milk are all made on-site. Guests can also enjoy drinks and snacks from the juice and coffee bar or purchase additional options from the à la carte menu.
