Who It's For

Boot Camp Marbella suits guests looking for an all-inclusive fitness retreat in Spain where the training is serious, the group is small and the setting does as much work as the programme. It's particularly suited to:

01

Solo travellers wanting a sociable fitness holiday

Around 85% of guests arrive alone — group workouts, shared meals and the daily rhythm create a warm atmosphere from day one.

02

Those wanting to kickstart their fitness or establish new habits

Sessions adapted for every level, with individual attention throughout a maximum group of 16.

03

Active guests who prefer outdoor training

Around 80% of sessions outdoors — beach circuits, coastal hikes, mountain trails and cycling through the Andalucian countryside.

04

Those wanting a complete all-inclusive package

Training, meals, airport transfers and accommodation included, with the hotel's hydrotherapy pools, sauna and ice baths for recovery.

The Programme

Every week covers a different mix of locations and activities — circuit training, boxercise, yoga, reformer Pilates, hiking, running, spinning and gym sessions, with around 80% of sessions taking place outdoors. A full day at Mike's Gym on the Friday adds Hyrox simulation and use of what Men's Health ranks among the top 10 gyms in the world, including a 4.7km obstacle and assault course.

Small group sizes ensure individual attention and motivation, helping every guest train to their full potential. Sessions are adapted for every fitness level and the philosophy is consistent encouragement and variety. Between sessions, the hotel spa — with hydrotherapy pools, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountains and ice baths — is available for recovery.

Hotel Facilities

Boot Camp Marbella is based at a 4-star hotel on Marbella's Golden Mile, 600 metres from the beach, with an outdoor pool, Mediterranean gardens and comfortable rooms with private balconies. The hotel spa — a 1,000sqm facility with hydrotherapy pools, whirlpool jacuzzis, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountains and ice baths — is available to guests during the programme for recovery between sessions. Breakfast is served in the hotel's dining area each morning before the first session of the day.

Wellness Facilities

Training takes place across multiple locations around Marbella rather than a single on-site facility. The beach gym sits directly on the sand, with the Mediterranean as the backdrop for circuits and strength sessions. The Boot Camp Marbella gym in Puerto Banús handles indoor strength and cardio work. Marbella's promenade and beach provide the setting for runs and group workouts, with a 10km route from Marbella to Puerto Banús. For cycling and hiking, the team heads inland to Istan and the mountain village of Benahavis. A full day at Mike's Gym — ranked among the top 10 gyms in the world by Men's Health, with a certified CrossFit and Hyrox facility and a 4.7km obstacle course — is included on the Friday.

Dining

Nutrition is a core part of the Boot Camp Marbella experience, guided by a "Conscious Nutrition" philosophy focused on food quality and mindful eating. Breakfast is served at the hotel each morning. Lunches and dinners take place at hand-picked health-focused restaurants around Marbella, with 70% of meals from the BCM set menu and the remainder chosen by guests.

Good to Know

Accommodation

Guests stay at a 4-star hotel on Marbella's Golden Mile, with spacious rooms and private balconies looking out over the mountains or the Mediterranean. After a full day of training, the hotel provides a comfortable and well-equipped base — pools, spa and a buffet breakfast included each morning before the first session.

Location

Boot Camp Marbella is based on the Golden Mile in Marbella, on Spain's Costa del Sol, 600 metres from the beach and 35 minutes from Malaga Airport. The location is central to the programme — coastal paths, mountain trails, the beach and the Marbella promenade are all training venues as much as scenery, and the year-round climate makes outdoor sessions possible in any month.

Marbella itself is worth exploring between sessions — Puerto Banús, the old town and the surrounding Andalucian villages are all within easy reach for guests with free time in the evenings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Boot Camp Marbella and what makes it special?

Boot Camp Marbella is an all-inclusive fitness and wellness retreat in Marbella, Spain, based at a four-star hotel on the Golden Mile 600 metres from the beach. Groups are capped at 16 guests and around 85% arrive alone — the small group size and shared daily rhythm create a genuinely warm community atmosphere that guests consistently mention alongside the training itself. Around 80% of sessions take place outdoors, making full use of Marbella's coastline, mountain trails and year-round sunshine, rotating through circuit training, boxercise, yoga, reformer Pilates, hiking, cycling and spinning across the week. A full day at Mike's Gym — ranked among the top 10 gyms in the world by Men's Health, with a 4.7km obstacle course and certified Hyrox facility — is included on the Friday.

What does a typical week at Boot Camp Marbella look like?

Days start with a morning warm-up or jog, followed by breakfast and the first training session — circuit training, reformer Pilates, boxercise or a coastal hike depending on the day. Afternoon sessions might include off-road running, spinning or an outdoor workout at the beach gym. Evening yoga or stretching closes the training day before dinner at one of Marbella's health-focused restaurants. The week covers multiple locations around Marbella and the surrounding countryside, with the full day at Mike's Gym on Friday the consistent highlight for most guests.

What is included in the Boot Camp Marbella package?

The all-inclusive package covers four-star hotel accommodation on Marbella's Golden Mile, all meals at health-focused Marbella restaurants, airport transfers from Malaga Airport and the full daily training programme. The hotel spa — with hydrotherapy pools, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountains and ice baths — is available for recovery between sessions.

Is Boot Camp Marbella suitable for all fitness levels?

The team has worked with competitive athletes and complete beginners alike, and every session is adapted so each guest is challenged at the right level — whether the goal is weight loss, improved fitness or a complete reset. The non-military approach means encouragement and variety rather than intensity for its own sake, and the small group size of 16 means the coaching is personal throughout.

Is Boot Camp Marbella suitable for solo travellers?

Very much so — around 85% of guests arrive alone. The small group format, shared meals and daily rhythm make it easy to connect with others from the first day, and many guests leave with friendships that outlast the week. The sociable atmosphere is one of the things people mention most when they return home.

What is the Conscious Nutrition philosophy at Boot Camp Marbella?

Conscious Nutrition is the nutritional approach at the heart of Boot Camp Marbella, focused on food quality and mindful eating rather than calorie restriction or deprivation. Breakfast is served at the hotel each morning, while lunches and dinners take place at hand-picked health-focused restaurants around Marbella — 70% of meals from the BCM set menu and the remainder chosen by guests. All dietary preferences and allergies are catered for. The philosophy is that sustainable fitness results come from eating well rather than eating less, and the social dimension of shared restaurant meals is considered part of the experience.

Can Boot Camp Marbella be hired for groups or corporate retreats?

The programme is available for private group and corporate bookings — training facilities, outdoor locations and Conscious Nutrition can all be tailored for teams wanting a fitness retreat in Marbella.
