My Stay at Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa: A Tranquil Asian Oasis in Costa Blanca
During my stay at the Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, I was transported to a serene, tropical sanctuary right in the heart of Costa Blanca. This luxurious, Balinese-inspired hotel offered the perfect escape from everyday life, blending opulence with tranquillity in a setting that felt far away from the hustle and bustle of Spain.
A Warm Welcome and Stunning Surroundings
As soon as I stepped through the Thai-style entrance, with its dark wooden beams and low lighting, I immediately felt as though I had entered a hidden paradise. The welcoming staff greeted me with a refreshing towel and drink before I checked in, setting the tone for the rest of my stay.
Though the hotel was bustling, there was no shortage of space. The sprawling gardens offered a peaceful haven to explore, and I found myself getting lost in the maze of wooden bridges and pathways. Every corner revealed something new – from cascading waterfalls to beautifully landscaped gardens. The lush greenery and the sound of trickling water were the perfect backdrop for relaxation.

Balinese-Style Rooms with Spectacular Views
The hotel boasts 311 Balinese-style rooms and suites, each with its own private balcony or terrace. I stayed in a Deluxe Superior room, which was elegantly furnished with a king-size bed, a cosy lounge area, and a Nespresso machine – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee with a view. The spacious bathroom featured a walk-in rain shower and a bathtub, with bath salts provided to enhance the soothing atmosphere. My balcony overlooked the peaceful gardens, and the gentle sound of water flowing created the ideal soundtrack for unwinding after a busy day.
For those staying in suites, there is exclusive access to the Thai Club area pools, which is especially beneficial during the high season, offering a more peaceful and private experience.

The Wellness Facilities: Ultimate Relaxation
The wellness experience at Asia Gardens is second to none. Upon entering the Thai Spa, I was immediately embraced by the peaceful and serene setting. In my comfy robe, I was welcomed with a refreshing herbal tea as I settled into the indoor-outdoor pool area and Turkish bath. The atmosphere truly set the tone for ultimate relaxation.
The spa menu offers an extensive range of Asian-inspired treatments and rituals. From traditional Thai massages to rejuvenating foot massages, the options are designed to soothe and refresh. You can enjoy your treatments indoors or in a secluded outdoor pavilion. I loved the added touch that all the therapists are trained at the renowned Wat Po Temple in Bangkok, which guarantees the highest standard of Thai massage. For those looking to enhance their wellbeing, the spa also runs holistic classes such as yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, and Chi Kung throughout the week.
Dining: A Feast for the Senses
Asia Gardens truly spoils you when it comes to dining. With nine restaurants to choose from (open seasonally), you’ll never go hungry! For an authentic taste of Asia, head to Koh Samui, or indulge in Mediterranean and international fare at Udaipur. If you’re after something more laid-back, the pool bar offers a variety of snacks.
Breakfast at Asia Gardens was one of the best I’ve experienced. The spread was vast, catering to every taste from healthy options to indulgent treats. There were traditional Spanish tortillas and churros, an omelette chef, a selection of Spanish hams and cheeses, fresh smoothies and juices, and miniature pastries that provided the perfect excuse to sample each one. For those with dietary restrictions, there’s even a dedicated gluten-free area to ensure everyone is catered for.

Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa is ideal for anyone looking to relax and indulge in luxury. Whether you’re with family, friends, or flying solo, there’s something for everyone. You can unwind in the tranquil spa, lounge by the pools, or explore the beautiful Costa Blanca region.
