Park Igls is a multi-award winning health retreat and medical spa in the heart of the Alps offering a holistic approach to detoxifying the mind and body through a programme of nutrition, exercise and diagnostic therapies in a cosy environment amongst spectacular Alpine scenery. Based on the findings of Dr FX Mayr that the gut is the key to good health and happiness, the clinic offers a range of health programmes based on the principles of Modern Mayr Medicine, aimed to leave you feeling relaxed, informed and regenerated. Whether you’re feeling tired, looking to lose weight, or looking to investigate a more serious health issue, the medical team are on hand to help you detox, cleanse and improve gut function under the expert care of the friendly and knowledgeable team of doctors and therapists led by Dr Peter Gartner.
WELLNESS PROGRAMMES
The hotel boasts its own park as well as a panoramic gym with spectacular views of the Alpine mountain, a fitness studio and a
15 x 6 metre indoor pool. There is ample room for relaxation with a library and cosy lounge area, as well as a billiard room and tea bar.
Dining
Nutrition is a fundamental concept of your stay and upon your arrival, a consultation with the doctor will take place on arrival to tailor your individual nutrition plan from eight possible alkaline-based diets from strict fasting to the reduced-calorie Mayr Energy Diet. The meals are based on Modern Mayr cuisine with a focus on alkaline based and light meals using herbs from the onsite garden and locally sourced ingredients to help regenerate the digestive system.
Spa
The modern spa is equipped for relaxation with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool, infrared cabin and relaxation areas. A textile sauna is also available. Treatments at the beauty and hair salon are complementary to the Modern Mayr programmes. You can also supplement your programme with additional medical services and treatments, specialist examinations, health psychology, medical massages, physical therapies and baths, spa body treatments, physiotherapy and detoxifying treatments form the core of Modern Mayr Medicine.

Park Igls is located in Tyrol, Austria on a sunny plateau at the foot of the Patscherkofel mountain, 900m above sea level and approximately 5km south of Innsbruck. It has magnificent views of the Nordkette mountain range and the Karwendel nature park, the largest conservation area in Tyrol and in Austria. This location enjoys a unique combination of Alpine air and the best possible conditions for physical regeneration.
